What settings does this screener use?
The detector uses Supertrend with a 10-session ATR and multiplier 3, plus ADX(14). A signal requires yesterday’s ADX < 25 and today’s ADX > 25; a reading exactly equal to 25 does not qualify. A close above the Supertrend line is bullish and a close below is bearish. These settings define this detector, not universally optimal trading parameters.

- Does a bullish signal establish a trade?
- A bullish label means price closed above the Supertrend line when ADX crossed above 25. It does not establish an entry, target or future return. The tables show historical outcomes against SPY for this specific detector; sample sizes and failed signals matter.
