About the Bullish SUPERTREND_ADX pattern
The Supertrend_ADX indicator is a technical analysis tool combining the Supertrend's trend-following with the ADX's trend strength assessment. It aims to provide more reliable buy/sell signals by filtering out false signals common in low-trend strength periods. The indicator calculates a dynamic trend line using the Supertrend and measures trend strength via the ADX. A buy signal triggers when the ADX exceeds a threshold (e.g., 25) and the Supertrend signals an uptrend. Conversely, a sell signal occurs when the ADX is above the threshold and the Supertrend signals a downtrend. This combination aims to improve signal accuracy, reduce whipsaws, and offer clearer entry/exit points. While beneficial, Supertrend_ADX is a lagging indicator and parameter-sensitive. It's most effective when used with other analysis tools and sound risk management.
